IF8000
The IF 8000 provides symptomatic relief of chronic intractable muscle pain as well as post-traumatic and post-surgical pain through the relaxation of muscle spasms, prevention and/or retardation of atrophy and an increase in local blood circulation and mobility.
With five frequency shift options and two channel interferential operations, the IF8000 is an exceptionally flexible device allowing the unit to be programmed for a variety of specialized rehabilitation need. Among the many unique features of the IF800 include the following:
-C Continuous mode: Beat frequency remains constant during the entire treatment period.
-1/1 Abrupt: Beat frequency shifts in one second durations from a 30% below to a 60% above the set frequency. (Thus at frequency of 10 Hz at 1/1 the net delivered beat frequency would modulate from 7 Hz to 16 Hz every other second).
-1/1 Ramped: Beat frequency ramps in one second durations from a 30% below to a 60% above the set frequency.
-6/6 Abrupt: Beat frequency shifts in six second durations from a 30% below to a 60% above the set frequency.
-6/6 Ramped: Beat frequency ramps from a 30% below to a 60% above of the set frequency once per 6 second interval, with a slow, up and down ramping transition.
The IF8000 offers a choice between constant stimulation and a neuromuscular stimulation option. The muscle stimulator option has a 6-second ON/6-second OFF duty cycle and for additional comfort a 1 sec. ramp up and 0.5 sec. ramp-down. The frequency shift options are functional during muscle stimulation.
In addition, the IF8000 is one of the safest electrotherapy units on the market featuring a compliance meter to monitor patient compliance and usage as well as an electrode alarm so patients do not experience unintentional shocks caused by poor skin contact or older electrodes. |
